Where can I get pricing/quote information for bridal makeup services?
Please submit an inquiry with as much detail as possible so I know exactly how to quote for services. You can simply click the link below to inquire.
Do you offer Airbrush services?
At this time, BABE Makeup Artistry no longer offers Airbrush Services. With modern technology, Airbrush is simply just another application technique. The same results can be produced with a brush, sponge, great skin prep and foundation. This includes longevity, coverage and climate factors.
Do you offer on- location services for special events or just weddings?
BABE Makeup Artistry is 100 % Mobile! Let's face it, Texas traffic is crazy and a huge headache to sit in. Time is a precious commodity so BABE makes it convenient for clients by providing on-site services.
Are you able to cover blemishes/ skin issues?
Of course! There is no need to be shy about any skin concerns you have, we are not walking Instagram filters. The appearance of discoloration, redness, etc can be covered within reason. Some textures such as a raised blemish can not be completely hidden but I can definitely make it less noticeable.
Are you able to do a variety of skin tones?
As a licensed, certified & educated Makeup Artist, I work on all skin tones, types & variations between. I am confident working with any skin type or tone.
How soon do I need to book for my event?
I highly recommend Brides book their wedding no later than 1 year out with BABE Makeup Artistry due to demand.
Do you offer a Trial Run? How long does it take?
Yes! In fact, its a requirement to book a trial run when working with BABE Makeup Artistry. We do not want any surprises or issues to arise on your wedding day! During the 90-120 minute Trial run, we will discuss important key elements of your wedding. This includes details on your dress all the way down to your wedding theme/colors. All of these things make a difference in look we choose & the overall vision and execution of your special day.
The date of your trial run, 50% of the total amount of contracted services is due as a retainer to secure your Wedding date. This is done at the signing of our service agreement. An inquiry or quote does not secure your wedding date.
Am I allowed to have another hair stylist or makeup artist service my party?
Since BABE Makeup Artistry does not provide Bridal hair services, you are more than welcome to have a Hair Stylist provide Bridal styling services. Out of respect for my time and yours, I ask that no other Makeup vendors are providing Makeup services at the same time unless otherwise disclosed or hired by BABE Makeup Artistry.
What do I need to do to Prep for my Makeup Application/Trial Run?
Since BABE Makeup Artistry is 100% mobile, there is only one small request - a space to set up. The best place is typically in front of a window with a table. If there is no window available, no problem - I have professional lighting I bring along with me - a table would be great though!
Prior to your appointment, you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to prep yourself physically for our appointment together.
Do you offer touch ups for my event?
Absolutely! BABE Makeup Artistry can provide touchups up until contracted service time/ or last appointment. Any touch ups requested outside of our contracted service time can be included at an additional rate. Just ask upon inquiry.
Can My child be present during my trial run?
Mommin' ain't easy and it takes a village! Plus, let's be real for a second, when was the last time you were ever able to use the bathroom alone? Amiright?
As a mom of 3 daughters, I understand. Children are completely fine during our appointment time - My only request is to make sure they can be entertained or napping to avoid disrupting the service and consultation. Additional family members are welcome to be at the trial, however, I ask that they do not interrupt or pick apart our service.
Can I bring you home with me?
Yes, however I require a copious amounts of snacks, iced coffee & sunshine.
Can a member of my Bridal Party use your tools or makeup even if they aren’t receiving services?
I respectfully ask that no member or guest of a Bridal party touch or utilize my tools, products or lighting to avoid contamination, damage or losses. If a contracted member of your party needs a service or product, just ask and I will provide upon request.
Can you cover my wrinkles/pores or freckles completely?
Professional Makeup Artists can do some amazing things, however, we do not have a magic wand that can magically take away wrinkles & other stubborn textures. We can dramatically minimize the appearance of such textures and colors. Be sure to share any skin concerns in the Bridal Preference form sent to you from BABE Makeup Artistry. On a side note, can we normalize texture please? It's totally normal to see some wisdom lines!
Is there a retainer that needs to be paid to secure my event date? Is it refundable?
Yes, there is a retainer required to secure your wedding date. No, this retainer is non-refundable as any other appointments requested on your wedding date is turned down. If for any reason we find that I'm not a good fit for your wedding date at the time of the Trial run, a minimum booking fee is still owed to cover services for the trial run. If we are a perfect match, the retainer is part of the total amount of contracted services and counts towards your balance.
Is your Makeup Kit sanitary?
1000% Yes! BABE Makeup Artistry uses effective, high standard sanitation practices and guidelines that fall in line with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation as well as M.A.S.S. to help mitigate the risk of spreading microbes. This includes but not limited to proper hand washing, disinfection (80% IPA) of tools & products as well as using single- use disposables such as lip brushes and mascara wands. Keeping my clients safe is a priority.
What if an event attendant (Bridesmaid, guest, etc.) needs to back out of Makeup Services for my event date?
Crazy things happen, understandably. We ask that anyone contracted to receive services that needs to cancel, does so with in 48 hours of the wedding date. If a cancellation occurs less than 48 hours/ or the day of the wedding, the amount for that service is still owed.
Do you wear a mask during services?
BABE Makeup Artistry follows updates & recommendations from the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation for Covid-19 precautions. For high risk clients, please specify your preference upon inquiry. I will gladly abide mask requests.
Can you waterproof my makeup & lashes?

Why are you more expensive than others?
Makeup sits on the surface of the skin, so its important to prep, set & seal the skin and makeup properly to ensure the longevity of your makeup application. With innovative products and techniques your make up will be water resistant. I do use waterproof formulas for Mascara and Liners. Eyelashes are for temporary use, as the glue is a water resistant formula. Factors like clients touching, sensitivities, or crying could effect the wear time of lashes so its recommended that clients keep tissues readily available because an excessively-saturated lash line will surly loosen the lash glue. A few tears are fine, but we want to be cautious.
Your services are out of my budget, now what?
Any oil-based, eye safe, makeup remover or micellar water on a q-tip or cotton pad will work like a charm! Gently press along the lash line until you feel the adhesive start to loosen.
Can you do eyes only for my Bridesmaids?
You've heard the saying, "Good work ain't cheap and cheap work ain't good."
There is some truth to that statement. A real Professional Makeup Artist doesn't just spend time applying makeup on clients. Truly, its about 20% Makeup and 80% business. I have spent countless time and money on education to make sure I am a qualified Professional Makeup Artist and that I have provided amazing services for the last 13 years. I maintain my License through the State of Texas, as well as have many certifications under my belt. You are paying for the legitimacy of never being ghosted, a person running off with your money, having a clean, sanitary kit and tools and provides a contract that protect both you and me. We are a team and I am very selective with who I work with as a Bride, as you should also be when selecting a Professional Makeup Artist for your most important day.
Listen, we are in the midst of inflation, times are hard but it doesn't mean you should have to compromise elements that make up the most important day of your life.
I do offer payment plans, please mention this upon inquiry to be included in your quote.
I can do only the eyes, however I do not offer partial face rates. The standard Makeup rate would still apply to anyone receiving makeup applications.
